How We Do It

Our classes run weekly during the school term.

The movements and poses incorporated in our classes:

reduce anxiety · teach physical and emotional regulation skills · improve sensory feedback · improve suppleness and coordination

Our classes are fun and engaging, and also encourage:

developing listening and social skills · mindfulness · cooperation

Ages 4-8

At ages 4 to 8, our classes have a focus on play and fun, while laying the foundations for years to come.

  • Small, sequential steps so children can learn without feeling overwhelmed

  • Focus on play and fun, with poses and mindfulness that are adapted to the children’s ability to lie still and focus for shorter periods

  • Laying a foundation for further improving interoception in later years

Ages 8 - 12

At ages 8 to 12, our classes have a focus on building body awareness and learning to regulate.

  • Building body awareness so children can recognise how they are feeling and what their physical and emotional needs are 

  • Calming dysregulated bodies and emotions

  • Building capacity in the central nervous system

Teens

For teens, our classes have a focus on providing unplugged quiet moments of calm to recover while navigating a busy world, and learning how do this in daily life.

  • Improving the emotional and physical experience of teens navigating a busy world

  • Unplugged moments of calm and quiet to recover, reset and recharge
